While version one ran on our initial API, the version 2 API is not only faster but essentially instantaneous. Upon uploading a file, you receive an immediate price estimation, eliminating the need for bulk uploading and waiting for files to process. Now, files are processed instantly, providing immediate feedback on pricing and readiness for order fulfillment.
The second major improvement is the enhanced control we're giving you. We've integrated directly with USPS to automatically calculate shipping costs based on the item's weight, streamlining the shipping process. Additionally, the reliability of the backend system has been enhanced, removing previous limitations on file size and complexity. You can now confidently upload files of any size, assured of successful processing.
In terms of the user interface, we've undergone a complete design revamp to provide you with more control. You can easily unmatch and rematch files as you update designs, and with a single click, toggle the integration on and off. This feature allows you to take control of production during peak demand periods by turning off the Slant 3D Etsy integration and having orders directed to your in-house print farm. The UI has also been upgraded to be more responsive, offering better feedback on every action you take.
This revamped Etsy integration is a substantial improvement over the original, enabling you to upload virtually any file, receive instantaneous pricing feedback, and have full control over order fulfillment through either the Slant 3D print farms or your internal print farms. Especially during the Christmas season, this presents a valuable opportunity for Etsy sellers to scale up production without the hassle of managing additional printers and handling shipping logistics.
