3D Printing API Slicing Error Update

  • Jul 1, 2024
  • 1 min read

Hello Everyone,

We wanted to push this update publically. The last several days there was a bug in the Slant 3D API that caused some files to be sliced with a previous generation of slicer. This older slicer variation was replaced due to issues with thin walls and surface finish.

The bug has been fixed and we have reprinted and shipped replacements for all orders affected. So do not be worried you get multiple copies of an order through one of our systems.

Of course you will not be billed for multiple prints. This is our error. And the API is now updated reliably to the new slicer so part quality is back where it needs to be.

As usual let us know if you run into anything else.
