What is OPM by Slant 3D

OPM (OutDoor Performance Material) is a variant of PCTG that is manufactured in the USA by Slant 3D

OPM is meant to be exactly what its name implies. A Durable material for outdoor use and to serve as an alternative to more expensive materials like ASA and ABS. With excellent chemical resistance, and higher heat resistance than materials like PETG it is an ideal option for durable outdoor products.

-With a glass transition of 80C (175 F) you can put it in a hot car in Arizona. -It has a similarly rigidity and durability to PETG’s. Able to take a fall without -shattering. -OPM has better layer adhesion that most PETG’s -Very Good chemical resistance to most common items (Oils, Greases, Cleaning chemicals, Household chemicals, Automotive fluids) -All these features will let a an OPM part last in the great out doors reliably for 5-10 years. Basically as long as any ABS or ASA part.

All this makes OPM an good material for -Brackets -Tool components -Cases -Automotive parts -Mechanical components

OPM Print Temperatures: Hotend: 250-270°C Bed: 70-80°C Enclosure not required

OPM is fully extruded in the USA. We have brought it to market as part of our Tangled project to reduce the cost of 3D Printing materials to increase production solutions.
